Bio/CV

Katherine Curci (b. 1992, Toronto) specializes in photo-realistic charcoal drawings. She completed her BFA in Drawing and Painting at OCAD University in 2014 and received a Certificate of Advanced Visual Studies at OCADU's Self-Directed Studio Program in Florence, Italy. Represented by Olga Korper Gallery, her work is also held in several notable collections, including TD Bank, Scotiabank, and the Global Affairs Canada Visual Art Collection.

Katherine’s drawings are inspired by the natural elements of land, water, and sky. Her work explores the emotional impact of light and shadow, drawing influence from the nostalgic qualities of black and white film photography. Her drawings are a reflection of the beauty and fragility of our natural world.
